Load Plan Execution Lifecycle FAQS

1. What happens when a Load Plan is executed or scheduled?

When running or scheduling a Load Plan, you provide:

·        Variable values

·        Contexts

·        Logical agents to be used for the execution

2. What is a Load Plan Instance?

A Load Plan Instance is created when a Load Plan is executed. It is separate from the original Load Plan and represents a specific execution attempt with the variables, context, and agent settings provided.

3. What is a Load Plan Run?

A Load Plan Run corresponds to one attempt to execute a Load Plan Instance.

·        The first execution of a Load Plan Instance generates the first Load Plan Run.

·        If the execution is restarted, a new Load Plan Run is created under the same Load Plan Instance.

4. How are multiple execution attempts tracked?

Each attempt to run a Load Plan Instance is preserved as a separate Load Plan Run in the logs, allowing you to track and analyze multiple executions, including restarts.

5. Can a Load Plan be restarted?

Yes. When a Load Plan is restarted:

·        A new Load Plan Run is created under the same Load Plan Instance

·        All previous runs remain logged for reference and troubleshooting
